Hanging Bars in Bar Chart Based on %

Dear All Champs,

Happy New Year to Every One

I have 2 scenarios

1. Making Hanging Bars in Bar Chart.

2. Stack Bars in Bar Chart

I am attaching a sample excel. please suggest me that how I can do it.

Basically, you could create a set of expressions, one for total, the other for the subtotals. The subtotals baselines are offset using the expression attribute (expression tab - click on the plus sign next to the expressions - bar offset).

The offset is determined by the total minus the sum of expression values up to this bars expression.

A hanging bars chart is also called "waterfall chart", there are some examples here in the forum, please search for waterfall chart (then you find e.g. http://community.qlik.com/message/31457).

A stacked bar chart is also possible, you could create an expression per segment and select style "stacked" in style tab of bar chart properties. Again, I think there are a lot of examples here, please search for stacked bar chart.
