Has anyone encountered this error when installing QlikView Personal Edition: ‘Message from webpage. No connection'?

Hello

I have tried to install QlikView Personal Edition but receive an error

‘Message from webpage

No connection’.

I used the online chat facility on the website to seek advice and was referred to the Qoncierge service. They have advised that ‘This is not a known error from our system and it seems to derive from your webbrowser‘. The suggestion was to refer to the Qlik Community to search for a solution.

I have been unable to find any reference to this issue in any existing posts. Has anyone in the community come across this before?

For reference I am running Windows 7 version 6.1 and Internet Explorer 8 version 8.0.7601.17514.
