Hi,

Has anyone found a solution to the problem where the "Windows Installer" pop-up box interrupts the installation of QlikView (PE). Attached is a screenshot of the pop-up. I've tried the following:

-  Running the installation as Administrator,

- Re-registered Windows Installer,

- Made sure Windows Installer is running (through Services Manager),

- Made sure I have administrator rights over the Temp folder.

Did you try downloading the (correct) installer again? It might be broken.

What version of WIndows are you installing QlikView on?

That does seem to have been the problem (Windows Installer error). I went the long route though and reset my entire system (uninstall everything except personal files and reinstall, including Windows 10). Immediately installed QlikView PE successfully thereafter.
