Has anyone noticed Google map applications keep breaking?

Greetings QlikViewers,

Has anyone experienced their Google map based applications keep detaching or deactivating?  I've configured and repaired some of the same applications several times and each time I go back, the application seems broken or non-functional in some new way.  Has anyone experienced this 'instability' phenomena when it comes to Google maps QV apps?

Yes, this has happened to me now on three separate applications.  I get the map rendering functional and the application works fine while I'm paying attention to it.  Then I leave it alone for a while (maybe over a week) and come back to it later and the map functionality across multiple .qvw files has become detached (even the QlikTech issued sample).  Usually the data plot points are there as red dots on a light blue background, and the x,y coordinates are showing numeric values, but the dynamic background map images won't render.

The first time it was broken was an altered formula from the QV Google map whitepaper.

The second time it was the background Transparency had been slid to 100% on all my apps.

This third time, I'm not sure what has broken it but I'm beginning to feel like something out there really, really does not want the google map functionality to work, which is a shame because I thought it was a very cool feature.   Do we have a cyber-bullying problem?

License limitations on the rendering?  (i.e. only allowed x number of views per license?)  I've noticed using a new google map license has fixed the problem 1 time (not twice).  Guessing here... anyone? anyone?  bueller?  anyone?
