Is it possible to have Text box inside a Table Object? I'm trying to display the selections inside the report so that they can be sent to Excel along with the Sales information. Any ideas?
To my knowledge, it is not possible to imbed a text box inside a table object. However, it sounds like you are trying to set up your system so that current selections are listed when you send a data set to Excel.
This is actually a setting you can make in User Preferences.
Go to Settings->User Preferences
On the Export tab at the bottom there is a section called 'Selection Stamps in Exports'
Check the one that says 'On BIFF Exports'
With this setting enabled, any time you send something to Excel from a QlikView app it will have a stamp at the bottom of the data set indicating what the current selections were at the time of export.
