Having trouble with Straight Table

Dear Friends,

                         Please give me an idea how a straight table expression heading is coloured?

                         I want to colour only the expression heading.How to do that?

hi,

Pres Ctr + G .  then right clik on the straight table  --> Custom Format Cell.

You can now clik on cells and change the color.

              It is great but whenever I want to change the expression heading colour the all expression column colour

             changed.I want to colour the individual one.

hi,

Sorry, I dont think you can change only the header of the dimension. You can change the entire dimension color by going in the background and setting the RGB color over there.

             I just want to change the Expression Column header background colour not the dimension colour.

Hi,

if you change the chart type into pivot table, the custom format cell allows you to add color background only on expression column and the representation of the data is exactly alike to a straight table (if the dimension is only one):

Chart properties->visual Cues->select your expression,->Text(give background and text color)
