Head Count Analysis - Employee ( Opn + Gross Addtions -Resignations = Closing)

Dear All

I am working on following type of view in Qlikview I have attached  Emp excel seet (live with dummy data with active / in-active status) , Can any one help me to achieve this requirement.  Please note DOL - is date of resign and DOJ is date of join

User will select month / year / Qtr  as per selection opening and closing will display.

This requirement is quite urgent  till data I have got some solutions from community but I am not able to get correct results

Hello Vikas,

This is what I have understood:

1.- Opening Headcount: all those who joined before the beggining of the period, and that have no Date of Leave or it is before the beggining odf the period:

          DOJ <= Min(Date) AND ((DOL) >= Min(Date))

2.-Gross Additions:  all those who joined the company between the beggining and the end of the period:

          DOJ >= Min(Date) AND DOJ <= Max(Date)

3.- Attrition: all those who left the company between the beggining and the end of the period:

          DOL >= Min(Date) AND DOL <= Max(Date)

4.- Net Additions:

        Gross Additions - Attritions

5.- Closing Headcount:

          Opening Headcount + Net Additions
