Hi,
I have read some posts regarding the ability to use heat maps in Qlikview.
Is this complicated to set up? I have the attached qvw data file and I would really appreciate if someone could provide some help with regards to getting started with setting up a heat map.
Ideally I would like to show the following:
Percentage of Trading Heat Map Colour
50%+ Red
20%-49% Orange
10%-19% Yellow
5%-9% Light Green
0%-4% Green
Any help will be really appreciated. Please let me know if you require any further information.
Regards,
Daniel
Hi Daniel,
in a Listbox it is not possible, but in a chart. Click on the PLUS-sign, there you have possibility to enter an if-then-else condition for background or text color. Look at the attached file!

Hi Martina,
Thank you so much for you reply. The table you provided has helped with increasing my knowledge of this subject.
Is it possible to link the data to an actual map of the world? This would provide an excellent reporting visual.
Regards,
Daniel
Hi Daniel,
yes, but only with third party software like google maps, open streetview, geoqlik or globeqlik and others.

Hi Martina,
Is it difficult to set up using google maps?
Do you have any information with regards to how I would start the set up process?
Regards,
Daniel
Hi Daniel,

Thanks Martina.
I've read google and it seems quite technical (for a non IT person like myself). If anyone has a working example of how to set up a heat map with a google map, I might be able to replicate the process.
Again any help with this, will be much appreciated.
Regards,
Daniel
Hi Daniel,
this is a question of sales, google give this information not gratis! You have to get a licence key! And the exprressions are very complicated!
