Is Qlikview version 9.0.7808.9 compatible with Windows version 2012 VM server?

Currently report server is on Windows 2008.

Hi,

I think it should work. But why dont you upgrade to latest version of Qlik.

Because cost will be involved in upgrade. Do you see any issue with this compatibility?

QlikView 9 is not supported for Windows 2012, even if it could be installed, you will have no support from Qlik (in case you extended your support already).

If you are using macros, you need to carefully test each of them.

Thanks Kaushik and Miguel.

Please suggest the QlikView version (with backward compatibility) for Windows 2012 server.

The latest QlikView 12.20 is good for me. It works under Windows 2012 and Windows 2012 R2, and can open files from QlikView 9.

Bear in mind that the changes when it comes to QMC and settings are big.
