HI,

Adhoc Reporting is one where users can select Dimensions & Measures they wish to see in the Chart.  In qlikview there is no Drag and drop but you can allow user to select the required dimensions and measures through list boxes.  Refer below link for sample

Adhoc reporting in Qlikview

This can be implemented by using the Enable Conditional options in Dimension & Expressions tabs.  This is the new feature in Qlikview 11.

Hope this helps you.

Regards,

Jagan.

Hi Jagan,

If you only have to switch between two charts in the same sheet area, you could use a button that toggles the value of a variable. The button action would be Set variable and the expression would be like (let's call the variable vShowChart)

=IF(vShowChart = 0, 1, 0)

Position the two charts in the exact same position, enable Properties->Layout->Show = Conditional and add this condition to the first:

vShowChart = 1

and this condition to the second

vShowChart = 0

Only one of the charts/tables will be shown at any moment, and the button can be used to hide the one shown, and recall the other one.

Best,

Peter
