Hi ,
Can any one please help me with creating tree view list box for the attached sample hierarchy data?
Thanks
Hi Robert
I am having difficulty in understanding the outcome in your table after the hierarchy
Is is possible to include an example of how would you like the tree view list box to look like?
It would be easier for us.
Thanks
Agis
Hi,
Thanks for your reply.
The outlook should be something like
Richard-
parnt1-
Robert-
Child-
Samules
parnt2-
Bret-
Child-
Samuels
parnt3-
Chris-
Child-
Samules
Thanks
Hi Agis,
Is it possible to show my data like the above tree view?
Thanks
Hi Robert
tbh, having a structure like this would not make any sense.
It would make more sense to have something like the following:
HighestLevel
Robert
Samuels
Bret
Samuels
Chris
Samuels
Tell me something, all the Samuels is the same value? Because if it is, I don't think you can use the hierarchy function and create the tree view.
Thanks
Agis
Hi Agis,
Thanks for the reply.
Yes all Samuels is the same value.
HigestLevel
Robert
Samuels
Bret
Samuels
Chris
Samuels
As you suggested the above one makes sense, but i am not sure to create one.
Is it pssoble to create this view with my data?
Thanks
I don't think so to be honest.
It would be done if we had something like
Samuels
Robert
Bret
Chris
And again, the data needs to be in an adjacent nodes format.
Regards
Agis
Hi Agis,
Sorry for the confusion. can you please find the attached QVW which has data which makes more sense.
and the out put we need (tree view) should be something like this.
