Help on POC Dashboard

Hi Friends,

I need to develop a simple Revenue dashboard as  POC. The data source is a single Excel File with revenue data (Attached file).

Could someone please help me on how to start, how the dashboard would look like, what charts to use, how many tabs (based on DAR approach) etc etc. ?

Any type of suggestions, help are welcome. We can design the dashboard in any way we want. Please use the attachment to load the data and develop a dashboard.

The requirement will be like this:

  • The dashboard has to show the Planned Revenue vs. Actual Revenue
  • As of now 2 KPIs to be used: Total Revenue and Rate realization
    • Total Revenue ($) = Summation of (Individual Rate x Individual Billabilty Man Month (BMM))
    • Rate Realization ($/MM) = Total Revenue / Total BMM
  • These KPIs are dependent on Time. Filters to be used: Onsite Revenue, Offshore Revenue, Project Type (T&M, FPP), and Geo.
  • Dashboard should have the drill down functionality. Drill down functionality to SBU, Geography, Account (Customer Name) and Employee Level.

Regards!!!

Dear DMohanty,

Sorry to say but, you shouldn't ask such questions on this community.

I see this question as you are asking community people to work for you. Why don't you start working on this, the way you understand the QlikView.

The community will sure help you when ever you are stuck any where in your development.

And i would say there are lots of demo's available on Qlikview website. Just go through them and try developing something by your own.

Here is the link to the QlikView demo site where you can look for some examples of how to get started - Qlik Demos: See QlikView in Action | Demo.Qlik.Com

As mentioned by Kaushik, then you can't expect the community to do to all the work for you. What you ask for is more a task you should pay a consultant for doing and not something you can expect someone to do for free.
