I have a requirement to build a waterfall chart that shows the changes between two different forecasts plus the totals for those two forecasts positioned at the start and end of the chart. Ideally on the x-axis we will have a dimension that contains a drill down group (Region, Area,Market etc).
I’m experiencing a few problems doing this, the expression to get the difference between forecasts is easy and then creating a waterfall for those differences is straightforward. But then plotting the sum of the two forecasts either end of the chart is proving tricky.
Has anybody got a recipe for completing such a task. Attached is an illustration of what I'm trying to achieve.
I think you will find here some useful stuff: https://community.qlik.com/search.jspa?q=waterfall+chart&type=document.
