Help with making extensions work?

I want to try out bullet charts. There’s an example in the QV examples. C:\Program Files\QlikView\Examples\Extensions

I used the QAR to do the install.

It may be that it didn’t go into the right location.

I see them at C:\Users\johni\AppData\Local\QlikTech\QlikView\Extensions\Objects\QlikView\Examples\bullet

When I look in document properties/extensions it doesn’t show. Maybe because it looks like this is an object extension not a document extension.

I’m getting an error when I open a new document and try to add a new sheet object while in WebView.

Any ideas of a solution? Is something configured wrong?

Thanks in advance for any help.

This error happens if you´re using IE10/11 and QlikView 11.20 SR1 or below

try to upgrade and check again

What version of Qlikview desktop are you using and what versions of IE are you using? This could be a compatibility issue with the version of Internet Explorer to the version of Qlikview you're using (we use the IE installation when rendering Webview).

We use the version of IE you have installed to render Webview regardless what you have as a default browser. So,it's likely the compatibility issue as cleveranjos states.

Default browser does not impact QV Developer, it will always use IE
