1. Create a variable vShow (Alt+ctrl+V > Add> V1)

2. Create a text box/  Button

Action> Add> External> Set Variable >vShow =1

3. Right Click on the objects You want to hide /show

>Properties> Layout> Show> Conditional vShow =1

R u looking fr objects hide and show in front end.

Then u can do something of this sort,Please find attachment.

In that one variable is created variable1,whose values is changed on click of button(This u have to define in action tab of button)..click on button u see tht text object is hiding and showing up as and this is defined in Layout Tab of Text object..

If u want something else plss be little clear.

He don't have license as he mentioned. Can you prepare same for Word Doc so that he can understand easily

HI,plss try like this:

1) Go to settings in QVW file Then click on variables.

2) Add a variable say Var1 and assign value to it say 0. i.e Var1=0

3)Now add one button (Just fr simpler understanding) .

4)The go to properties of it select Action tab.

5) in action tab go to Action typr=extrnal and then in that click on set variable.

6) In that window @ right side say variable Var1 and value=if($(Variable1)=0,1,0)    and now ur button is setting variable either 1 or 0 based on click.

7)For example add text box now , go to layout , in layout u will show option and in that click on conditional radio button and write condition as Var1=1

8)Then say ok..Now u try cliking button which sets varible 0 and 1 and u are saying to text box show only whn Var1=1
so it ll hide whn it is 0..try cliking button and see
