Limitations:

QlikView is not only a reporting tool, but also a analytical tool.

 We can provide Dashboards, Analysis and Reports (DAR) in a single solution and on a single

architecture.

 In QlikView, one person can play different roles, such as BI Analysis, Data Architect,

Data modeller, ETL developer, BI Developer, Data Quality Analyst, BI operations..

 Associative concept at engine level.

 In-memory analysis.

 Cost is very less when compared to the other BI tools.

 High performance, less execution time, less installation time.

 Easy to develop/design the dashboard.

 We can trained up the users within short span of time (1hr).

 We can easily drill down the data.( In other tools, we have to regenerate the report)

 No need to design the separate application to access dashboard from the mobile devices.

 Implementing the dashboard in different regions

In QlikView - We need to change the connection string only.

In BO - Promotion Issues.

Limitations:

 The increase in number of users and data volumes the amount of RAM needed also increases

which in turn affects the hardware costs. Because RAM is comparatively more expensive than

disk-based memory.
