Hiding Sheets

Hello

I've created a sheet in my application that contains tables and charts purely for report printing. I don't want the users to be able to see this sheet. What's the best way of hiding it?

Hi,

You will be able to Show a Sheet either Conditional or always. By default it is always. You can hide the sheet based on a business rule, which in this case associated to the user. If the developer logs on then you can display the sheet and if the normal users log on you can hide. It is very similar to hiding an object in side the sheet.

You can do this from Sheet Properties > General tab. Check the 'Condition' radio button and put condition which never evaluates to true e.g 1=2. This will hide the sheet from users.

It's quite easy way.

In Condition show in sheet you put 1=2

Then sheet is always hidden.

When you need to show the sheet, you are chnging the show condition in properties of sheet in document properties from the profesional or developer level
