Hierarchy Roll up point summary?

Greetings,

I have a hierarchy that has leaf level dollar amounts. I would like to be able to have roll up point amounts.

If I have three sales reps who report to the same manger, I would like to be able to see the amount for the manager and the manager's manager, etc...

Has anyone ever done this before?

I think you can solve this with the hierarchy and hierarchybelongsto functions. See this blog post: Unbalanced, n-level hierarchies
