Hierarchy method to be displayed in QlikView

Suggestions please - The datasource contains an unusual Hierarchy method.

node ids are stored in a table within a path field that can represent up to eight levels within a hierarchy. The NodeID represents a level Name.

I have seen the Hierarchy functions (Hierarchy, HierarchyBelongsTo) which don’t appear to conform to this data structure.
