How Soap & Rest mean to qlikview connection establishment

Hi ,

What is the importance of soap & rest connections  in qlikview while connecting to Service Now data source.

If we can connect using Soap or Rest and full the data then please explain how do we incur the soap or Rest in qlikview.(Service Now direct data pulling is not happening hence trying for an another option in QV)

Diff between Soap & Rest with respective to QV ?
