How can we pull datasource from unix into qlikview?

Hi all,

Is there any possibilty to pull data from unix server into qlikview?

I have xml and text files in unix server.

How can i pull the data into the qlikview? Please Advice!

One way would be to install an ftp server on your unix machine and access the file through ftp. Qlikview can use ftp connections to load data from files. Or you can copy the files to a file share on a windows server that Qlikview is allowed to access.

you could create a samba shared folder in unix and get qv to access it that way, another option is using an external script under cygwin or winscp to pull the data from the unix environment
