Hi there,

Welcome to the world of Qlik! For you to become a QlikView Developer you need to read and practice first with some great and usefull books. First you need to get the Reference Manual that it's usefull to get to know all the functions that QlikView have. After that start reading the QlikView Tutorial book which will give you fundamental awareness (~2-3 days to 1 week). After that try the book "QlikView for Developers Cookbook" and "QlikView Learning Data Visualization" (~1 week to 2 weeks). These 2 books are the basics so you become a novice in QlikView. After this practice an intermediate book and fundamental to become a QlikView Developer, the "QlikView for Developers" (~1 week).

This 4 books that I've present to you are best ones to quick start your path in becoming a Developer. After this the next logical step is to practice by answering some questions in here which will make you feel you're developing some projects. Also try to see some tutorials in YouTube and search for any channel related to QlikView. Read several documents and search new QlikView blogs so you are familiar with the software (~1 to 3 months).

The next step is to prepare yourself to do any Certification related to QliKView (~2 months). If you don't want to do any certification I strongly suggest you to start developing and keep up with the study.

It takes at least half a year to become a medium QlikView Developer. Don't give up and keep it up with the study. Keep updated with the news and read everything related to QlikView.

Hope my advises suits you.

Best regards,

MB
