How do I average certain criteria only?

Hi ,

Ive a list of fruit in one column and a list of prices in another. How do I create a text box object with say for example the average of apple prices only?

Secondly, how do I round numbers in a chart? ie $120,000 to $120k.

For the number formatting, look in Properties|Number at the Thousand Symbol box.

apologies - for the thousand symbol, do I  put an expression in this box and divide by 1000?

In regard to the number rounding, have you checked out the Number tab settings of your chart?  That should allow you to set things:
