I have a pivot table and have some null data tied to some fields i need to show the items data with the null. what do i do?
Note: I need the null but i dont need the overflow - field
the dash ( - ) does not mean overflow. It is a way of showing null-values. But you can chose a different visual representation by overriding the dash - as that is the default.
On the Chart Properties and the Representation tab you will find Null Symbol furthest down to the left.
This removed the Null rows completely. I need to remove only the overflow in my table. I need to still show the row but not the overflow -
I don't understand what you mean with overflow... could you please explain?
An extra empty field with null
You mean an extra dimension value that is null?
Could you provide us with a screenshot of both the Dimension tab, the Expression tab and the Presentation tab of the chart that you are having problems with?
