How do you assign permissions ?

do you mean authorization on Qlik documents?

if yes there are 2 different way, NTFS and DMS:

- on file system (folders and/or Qlik docs) if you're using Windows authorization; you set it on the security tab of the files

- in QMC (Qlik management console) if you're using DMS
