Not sure if this is what you are talking about, but below is the old rule thumb. So, if the size of the QVW is 100mb closed when you open it will increase by 4 (our example 400mb). Each user that is using the file will increase the size by 10% so if you have 10 users the size will grow by 400MB. So, you would need 800mb to maintain the document. However, there can be spikes based on the calculations on table and graphs
100mb QVW file ( * 4) 400mb Server Memory
10 users 10% of server 400mb Server Memory for user (40 per)
800mb to maintain 1 qvw file
