How does QlikView assign colours in charts?

Hi all,

How does QlikView assign colours in charts? I understand in the Colours tab it takes the first 18 colours as defined in the tab, does QlikView assign colours randomly to data points after that limit is reached?

E.g. In a Scatter graph you might have 30-50 dots to display I am trying to understand how it assigns colours automatically. Thanks

After 18 colors, colors being repeated from the first color to again the last color.

If you tick Repeat last color, then after 18th (i.e. 19th Onwards) the 18th color will get repeated ...
