How know the graph type active

Hi.

My intención is a graph showing 1 or 2 dimensions depending of the type of graph that is. If the chart type is Pivot Table, it show the second dimension. If the chart type is Pie, show only the first dimension.

These change would be made by the user with Fast Change Type.

I thought it enable the second dimensión as appropriate, but I need to know how to detect the type of graph.

i doubt that we can identify the chart type when you are using the fast change.

alternate option, which you might know already: create two chart and give user to click on a button to switch between them.
