Hello everyone,
I have a qlikview desktop and I am leasing license form server.
so for this I did two things
1. Settings-->User pref-->Locations-->Default License lease server url
2.Open in server -- here also I have mentioned details.
Now I have created three qvws, when I am trying to open one of qvw I am getting error
" your installation of qlikview has exceeded the maximum number of document recoveries allowed"
I came across many threads for this but not able to understand functionality of personal edition with lease licence etc.
Our is a small project so its like beginning so havnot bought desktop license.
Can anyone explain me in details.
Thanks
Avneet
Hi,
It has to be like below:
After '//' mentioned Server name.
Thanks,
AS
In QMC, what type of QlikView license has been assigned to your user?
Best,
Peter
Hi Avneet,

Yes doing same. and then when I click open--> it shows all the published and sample dashboards
but in license location it says peronal edition
It is a named Cal and "Allow license lease is enabled.
After clicking on "Open" do u have window like below ???
If Yes than you need to open any one of the Report under Accesspoint folder once , later close that QVW and next time onward you shouldn't have Personnel Edition comment.
Second please cross check from QMC , you should have some license available to lease ,shouldn't be the case below:
If Yes , please free some.
Hope this help!
Thanks,
AS

This is new project so just few Cal are used so many are available
