How to Configure Mail settings in QlikView ?

Hi,

I want to send an e-mail Alert whitout using Macro, however i can't correctly configure mail setting in the user preference.

The messaging error is : must issue a STARTTLS command first.

I've QlikView personnal edition.

i use Gmail messaging.

Hi,

To use a mail from QlikView using GMail, please check this thread with working code. Indeed, you need to configure the ssl, mandatory in GMail, otherwise it will not be sent.
