How to Remove synthetic keys ????

Hi All,

Please find attached QVW and QVD files.

I have data model with many synthetic keys generated.

It shows its ambiguous when data is loaded.

Please someone help me how to work on it.

Detailed explanation is required. I worked only on dashboard designing not on the model.

Many synthetic keys are generated when i load data.

How to remove the synthetic keys without affecting the data model.

Please check data model in QVW.

I'm very sorry to say that Its very difficult to understand the data model. You can remove the synthetic key by renaming the field. Please explain your desire result for which data model may be changed in that scenario.

Actually i am not getting proper results in the dashboard and data filtering is not happening for few fields.

I heard somewhere that  there should be a centralized table. Even i dunno exactly

As per my understanding you might have two fact tables named Fact_Limit, Fact_Claim. Merge these two tables into one single fact table and other master tables might be linked with the fact table.

You may follow this way and might get the desired data model.

You have to follow one of the model for your data model like Start or Snow flake schema but you need to check from your end which model gives a desire output as you want by cross check the sum value for any month or year by the model.
