How to Try/Test the QlikView Console?

Hello,

I'm using QlikView 11 SR8 Desktop and I'd like to try the QlikView Console to get familiarised with it and test the functionalities (I have a license). Do I have to install the QlikView Server to run the Console? Could I do it in the same PC where I'm currently using the Desktop?

How could I do that?

Hi,

To try QMC (Qlikview Management Console) you need to install Qlikview server in your machine or any other server machine.

You need Server Installer for the same.

What os you have if it is Windows 7 64 bit and winds 2003 or 2008

Then I would say yes you can install server in the same machine.

Can you confirm your os?

Yes QV Server need to be installed for QMC.

Yes you can install same PC where QV desktop is installed, provided you have sufficient space.
