How to access the data files from a portal?

I want to access the data from a portal where the data for my application will be available in the form of excel files.

I tried to access it with the following link

https://www.website.com/Consolidated%20Training%20and%20Certification%20Data%202010/00.Employee%20wi...

but data's are getting loaded.

It is working fine when I download the file to my local machine and access. But I want to access direclty from the portal.

Any views.
