How to add one more value into the dimension

Hi All,

I have the following table:

Category, Revenue

A, 100

B, 300

And I use one Pivot table to show it and Let category As dimension, and use Sum(Revenue) to show the Metric.

The question is here just shows the Category A and Category B, what I want is add one C cateogry to show it in the Chart.

I know we can achieve it in the Loading script, but how can I do it in the Pivot table?

Thanks.

You can't add data in the pivot table, or in any other chart object. The best way is to add it to the source data and reload. Alternatively you can try to use a Dynamic Update action to insert data in the data table.

Actually you can add data to a Chart using INPUTFIELD

here is a video of how

I agree, the best way to add data is at source, however INPUTFIELD can be helpful in certain situations
