How to allow users to select only one value in search box

Hi,

Is it possible to limit access to one value in Search Box?

Like in list box 'Always one selected value', is there any option in search box to allow users to select only one value?

Someone please help me ASAP.

Search object i don't think so it is possible or not, But, By creating triggers we can use that fiels and string as Which you required to select. That means it will effect to the search object as well

Yes Anil, I have a trigger in place to have  a default value displayed in the search box.
Now I want to allow users to select only one value from the drop down all the time.

Do you think I can do this with a trigger?

Right now it is allowing me to select multiple names from the drop down

But I want it to allow me to select only one name all the time.
