How to append records based on field

in above sheet i have mentioned ID,COUNTRY,SALES my requirement is if ID related to US it should be display US_id like that i have some confusion how to write condition  and expected output is

ID	COUNTRY	SALES
us_1	us	100
uk_2	uk	200
us_3	us	300
ca_4	ca	400
us_5	us	500
uk_6	uk	600
us_7	us	700
ca_8	ca	800
us_9	us	900
