Dear all,
I have 20 tabs and one summary page (tab), In summary page having a filter, same filters are available in remaining 20 tabs.
If I select the filter in summary page, these filter will be applied to all 20 tabs.
How can I apply a common (Global) filter for all in QlikView?
By default Qlikview apply filters across application, in all tabs. Not sure if I understood your question properly?
Sorry, I'm not understanding your reply.
Qlik's default behavior is itself so. Unless you create alternate states and apply them for sheets, by default one selection in one sheet gets applied to all sheets available in your qv document.
When You select a value from a filter box, it will be applied in all tabs of your application.
Yes, that's true Digvijay, please provide me with an example.
Suppose you have a Product Name filter in one or more tabs, when you select One or more products from the filter(list box) , lets say in your summary tab or any other tab having the product list box, all of your charts, tables etc will show data for that product only(Provided you have not used set expression to disregard your selections).
Yes, what you said it's true - my scenario is same. When I select filter(Product) under the List box corresponding product values(Chart, Report) should be filtered in all tabs. But in my case 1-20 tabs, It filtered only 15 tabs but remaining 5 tabs no changes, it means those 5 tabs filter is not working.
Check if there is any Alternate State applied in those tabs/sheets, like:

learn more about it here: Alternate States ‒ QlikView
Some how, Behavior helps like below
Check these
1) Alternate states
2) Lock Systems
3) Triggers
Even though, Qlik has benefit like associative to each and every object ![]()
