How to change the value of a variable

I have a variable defined volval = 4, and it is used as conditional in my sheet to show a particular sheet. There the content displays like 'Certain fields have to be selected mandatorily to view this report'. Now i need to change the content of this text like 'Certain fields have to be selected to view this report'. Please tell me how to change this text, where can i change it?

HI

Press -> Ctrl+Alt+ V or Setting->Variable Overview. You can able to see the values of the variables. From that, u can able to change it

Edit:

If its the "Error message" in your chart, then try like this

Chart Properties-> General -> Error Message -> Calculation Condition Unfilled

In that, we can able to change the message in  "Custom message".

I'm not sure if understand your question but with an input box or a slider you can dynamically change variables.

Hi Malathi,

I guess the message is in a text box whose transparency is set to 100%. Just try to right click on the text and go to property.

Got answer to the question, I was able to change in the Chart properties -> error messages -> Calculation Condition -> Unfilled
