How to convert date dimension in pivot table to weekly/monthly basis?

HI guys,

i have a pivot table with date as dimension. Is it possible to create a command/button to show the table on a weekly and monthly basis?

i have added a calender object to select multiple dates to be displayed but it will be useful if somehow i can group it and show a monthly and weekly basis.
