How to create vertical legends??

Hi

Try by click on chart --> Select CRTL+SHIFT and try by dragging your legend.

This is a bit dicey; not very smooth. If ctlr+shift and resizing doesn't work easily, keep Reseting User Docking and Reset User Sizing buttons to start over again.

CTRL + SHIFT on the chart and you will get red boxes around the objects, then you can drag the legend and re-size it the way you want.

no... CTRL + SHIFT is not working it moves the complete object not the row or values

when you click on CTRL + SHIFT you will have a red box around the legend, first drag the legend to the place that you want and then minimize the object vertically and the legend will then be on the same line.

Try like this

Step - 1: Chart Properties -> General -> Click on Reset User Sizing & Reset User Docking buttons

Step - 2: Click on chart -> Hold Ctrl + Shift buttons and move slowly to the bottom or top of the chart until you see the black border adjusts to the chart.

Dear Mafaz,

It is not possible to create vertical legends.

However, you can do it through tricky way. Here are the steps,

Step 1:

Chart Properties > Presentation > Text in Chart "Add" > Type Your "Text" > Angle (degrees) "-90" > OK > Apply > OK

Step 2:

Vertical Aligned Text Appeared, now you can place this text at any where just pressing CTRL + Shift + Mouse Click.
