How to develop the Heat map for India?

HI All,

I have a requirement to develop heat map for India,the colours of states is based on the saleswise.I tryed in different ways to get the plain india map

but i am not succed.

Can any one know about how to develop the heat map for india,my requirement is i want to give the colours for states based on my sales.
