Hi
I have a straight table listing, let us say sales of products with various other expressions ie % of sales etc and the user able to view individual months through the use of a selection box. The loaded file on which this is populated only contains lines by product where there are sales ie in some months a product id may not be listed in the file because there were no sales. For presentation purposes I would like the table to show all product ids, even in months where there are no sales. Using QlikView 11 is it possible to force the table to show all product lines rather than just those for which there is a record in the month selected bu the user?
Thanks for your time
Hi Gareth,
can you post your QVW please?
Andy
try this,un check from Dimension tab- Suppress when value is null and see.
.... and maybe tick "Show All Values"
See Presentation tab in chart properties. Uncheck "suppress zero-values', and maybe 'suppress missing'.
Thanks for your responses but the simple presentation options did not resolve the issue. Not at liberty to post QVW but might replicate if no other successful suggestions received before hand.
Hi @Gareth Rees,
You might want to try and add an expression:
Label: <one space> (shows blank)
Expression: =''
Hope this helps.
Kind regards,
Jop
If the external source for your facts table only lists products with sales, and you do not load any other product list (all products would be good), try to find a MasterData product list and load that one as well.
Aside from that, in the dimension tab, for dimension Product keep Suppress When Value is Null checked and check Show All Values too.
