How to display the most current values

Hi, I send this example to see if anyone can help me.

What I want is to get other data when a selection is made.

In the example I have two datasets, from Apr 2016 and Oct 2016.

The scorecard has data from January 2015 to December 2017.

- If I select any month other than Apr or Oct:

QV: shows in the graphic "No data to Display"

I would need the most current data to appear, in this example it would be the Oct data. 2016.

- If I select any date after oct. 2016

QV show data from april and and october 2016.

and What I need: I just want last updated data, in this case those of oct. 2016

- If I select a date between april 2016 and oct. 2016

QV: it shows "No datos to Display"

What I need: I want data from april 2016 to be shown, as it´s latest data for that period.

- If I select a date previous to april 2016

QV: it shows "No datos to Display

This one is correct.

- If I only select year 2016

QV: data from april and october 2016 is shown

I want data only from oct. 2016

- If I only select year 2017

QV: it shows "No datos to Display

I need data from oct. 2016

-If I select only year 2015

QV: it shows "No datos to Display

This one is correct

I would like how to make it work like this.
