Hello,
We just bought QV and getting our hands around it.
I have a pivot table as shown below
Header 1 | 2010 | 2011 | Total ? | |||
---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
Product | Qty | Amt | Qty | Amt | Qty | Amt |
DVD 1 | 4 | 40.00 | 5 | 50 | ?? | ?? |
Book 2 | 8 | 40 | 6 | 30 | ?? | ?? |
CD 5 | 3 | 30 | 5 | 50 | ?? | ?? |
Book 8 | 1 | 100 | 2 | 200 | ?? | ?? |
Total ? | ?? | ?? | ?? | ?? | ?? | ?? |
Here are my questions
1. How do I do totals and grand totals
2. Is it possible to sort by 2011 Amt
3. Does QV picot table allow multi sort ex. Sort by Total Amount, then by 2011 Amount?
4. is there any way I could add rank (based on amount) for 2010 as well as for 2011
Thanks in advance!
Aji.
Hi Aji
1 . u can use partial sum in pivot table to display totals & grand totals

4 . yes u can add rank to each product based on amt by using rank expression ...
Thanks a lot
