We are running a QlikView project for an international company that needs to give the users the possibility to surf a set of corporate dashboards and also create their own current selections and print them in a physical printer or PDF sheet WITHOUT a client virtual PDF printer installed.
Our license already includes “QlikView Publisher” and “QlikView PDF Distributor” but we are not fully sure they can supply our needs.
The first can just “cut” data and distribute them, the second creates PDF and we can “call” it via EDX task BUT we need to print the user current selection and not the corporate version of the dashboard.
Substantially, what we need to implement is an architecture by which the user, running the qlikview web application, can follow this process:
- Open a corporate dashboard
- Make a current selection
- Click a “Print as PDF” button
- Receive a PDF of the corporate dashboard with his own selections
Is it possible? Do you have any idea about that?
We also checked the NTPrint solution but it seems it can’t help us either.
