How to freeze data to create a trend line

Hi,

I have data I am loading every month, but I want to be able to freeze the data on one chart to display a trend of what the number was for that specific month.

How would I do this?

Use set analysis I guess... but to give more help... we would need more details

Hi Sunny,

if you see the chart below, it has an upward spike for the current month because the numbers are being refreshed each month. I'm trying to have the past numbers "freeze" for that time before it was refreshed.

For example, the 7,840 number for this month will change to 500 next month, but I'm trying to figure out how to keep it at 7,480.

it is being stored into a qvd and then i'm pulling the file.

will an incremental load be the solution?
