How to fulfill the requirement?

Hi All,

Please see the below requirement how to approch this means which chart or text object.

Input:

Loaction	Year	Month	Price	profit
Hyderabad	2014	10	100	10
Hyderabad	2014	9	90	9
Bangalore	2014	10	150	15
Bangalore	2014	9	170	17
Chennai	2014	10	195	15
Chennai	2014	9	190	17
Kerala	2014	10	200	20
Kerala	2014	9	300	15

Requirement:

Total we have four colors red,green,orange and yellow. here we will compare Current month VS Last month

1.if current month price & profit is higher than last month then that location goes to Green color

(price=high & Profit=high------------Green)

2.if current month price & profit is lower than last month then that location goes to Red color.

(Price=low & Profit=low------------------Red)

3.if Price=High  & Profit=Low-----------Yellow

4.if Price=Low & Profit=High-------------Orange.

This location places may vary every month based on value

How to write conditions ?????????????

How to approach the way to develop this????????????????

Hi Ashok,

Try Creating four text box with different color and try to pull the relevant location name in each text box using required condition.

This trick may work.

Hi Jyothish,

I thought in that way only but i struck up by how to write condition for both value and location because location also need to change it's  position based on it's value.

For ex:

Hyderabad this month may it comes in Green text box, next may be it's goes to red box like what are it may be..............

It's seems helpful but when add any location it's create another block not in same color block.

user dont want another block . he needs same color locations on single block.

Hi ,

Can you please provide more lights on your requirement?

You want to show only those location in the chart (Bangalore,Hyderabad,Chennai,Kerala).If you add any other location except those location ( Bangalore, Hyderabad, Chennai, Kerala) it will not reflect/show in your chart.

Is this your requirement?

Hi Ashok,

What i am suggesting is:

In red Text box make an expression which will always give the country which falls in that criteria, so when other country fall in that criteria the that country name will come in red.But i guess you can show only one name at a time.Not sure about that.
