How to get live data to qvw?

Hello guys,

I need a real time charts and tables data and I would like to show the data every minute from the database.

But my database is in local drive. Now I am uploading the database only once to qlikview server at 10am. so, I am getting whatever the data exists before 10am. My users are running the report at different timings and they can not able to see the last inserted data. Is there any way I can able to make the live data available in qvw. I tried Allow Dynamic update option but it is not working.

Can anyone share with me if there is any soluiton.

You can explore direct discovery feature of Qlikview.

But it has many limitation.

restrictions and limitations :

Direct Discovery as it is now has lots of restrictions and limitations. Some of the limitations:

• No Section Access and data reduction based on DD tables
• No Binary Load of DD tables
• No GROUP BY, WHERE in DIRECT SELECT SQL queries (use views as target for queries)
• No Pivot Charts, Table Boxes and mini-charts
• No Calculated Dimensions
• No Alternate States
