Hi,
I have a straight table in QlikView
The dimension is an id
=if(_ACTIVE_FLAG=1 , DPP_ID,null()) which is only displayed when the id is active
The expressions are a mixed bag with some columns that should always show
address, name, city, state
and some columns which should show conditionally
e.g. if member_flg =1 then show Member id column
There is a button that controls how the table should display data - a Member button which selects 1 or 0 on the member_flg
I am unable to hide the entire column Member Id!!
I believe it has something to do with the specific expression I am using
What am I missing here - any ideas or suggestions ?
I have to use a straight table - other tables are not an option
Thanks in advance!!
Rick
It's easier to resolve your issue if you post a small sample QVW that shows your current status.
I wish I could, kind of large data model in the back ground - the general question is do all the flags have to match in the straight table or can you have one flag on a dimension and another on an expression. Also can columns be totally hidden or will the label always display and the content is hidden?
Sorry I wish I could share more data
Thanks for your assistance
Rick
