Hi ALL,
I have one Expression
Count(Distinct User)
I have one Field Call City ,
But City is not Associated with User.
So if user selecting Any City Nothing is showing that is correct because city is not associate with User.
But What i want say if User Select City as Mumbai Nothing will change it ignore the selection when City = Mumbai and
if user select any other city it show nothing as Happening right now.
Create an association between City and User in the data model and then use Set Analysis in the front-end. For detailed help, try to share a sample qvw with inline data and explanation of required output.
Hi Chanty,
I Tried
Count(Distinct{<City -={'Mumbai'}>}User) OR Count(Distinct{<City =- {'Mumbai'}>}User)
But its shows 0. Because City is not related to User so This Expression is not working .. can you suggest me the same
As tre said...create an association b/w city and user... then use abve condtion it will work.
Brij,
You need to create a bridge man between these fields.![]()
attach sample ,so people can easily understand your problem
Hi All
I cant make the Assocition between user and City
Say i have table that i have to concatenate
First:
LOAD * INLINE [
Date, User
01/01/2015, A1
01/02//2015, A2
01/02/2015, A3
];
Concatenate(First)
LOAD * INLINE [
Date, SID
01/01/2015 , A11
01/02/2015 , A12
];
and one city table which is linked with SID
LOAD * INLINE [
SID, CityID,CityName
A11 , 1 , Mumbai
A12 , 2 , Delhi
];
this is sample i can give ... i have lot of table and i Have to concatenate the above two table . so how can i make association
count({<CITY=E({<CITY={'MUMBAI'} >})>}user) Try this maurya
Not really sure about your data model.
Try joining the tables rather than concatenating them like:
...
Left Join(First)
...
